Orianna Montenegro is an artist and designer known for her plastic and digital work that converge distorted images, paintings, digital, colors, organic shapes, and textures. Born in Acarigua, Venezuela. She’s inspired by people, moments, and places while traveling, but most importantly by her culture and roots from Venezuela. She seeks to show through her work how her country is facing a terrible crisis that involve economic and political issues, violations of human rights, shortage of medicine and food, police brutality, and among others. She uses her art as a bridge of understanding of how brave venezuelan people are, which haven’t stop fighting against Maduro’s regime. She attended Lindenwood University in Saint Louis, Missouri, where she obtained a B.F.A in Studio Art and a B.A. in Graphic Design. She currently lives and works in Miami, Florida.
